Coming to America, In Real Life!!! Home Health Aide Crowned King!

This is why it pays to be nice to EVERYONE....

KASESE, Uganda (Oct. 20) — For years, Charles Wesley Mumbere worked as a nurse's aide in Maryland and Pennsylvania, caring for the elderly and sick. No one there suspected that he had inherited a royal title in his African homeland when he was just 13.

On Monday, after years of political upheaval and financial struggle, Mumbere, 56, was finally crowned king of his people to the sound of drumbeats and thousands of cheering supporters wearing cloth printed with his portraits.|wbml-aol|dl1|link3|

Charles has been in the US since 1984 and was granted political asylum in 1987 now in 2009 after 10 years of negotiation, the Rwenzururu Kingdom is being recognized as Uganda's seventh kingdom.

He has the power to determine and resolve cultural and social issues affecting his people. That is a HUGE dea peoplel, he is a KING, no one can stop him, if he wants to find resources for better education of his people, he can, if he wants them to have access to better healthcare, he can. All he needs is the support... we could learn a valuable lesson from this man..

However I digress..The point of todays blog is to show you whyyyyyy it pays to be nice to everyone, because you never know who they are, or where they came from.... and lets face it the way of the world is more about who you know rather than what you know..

People on the come up ALWAYS remember who was nice to them and ALWAYS I repeat ALWAYS remember who was MEAN!!!!

So as we move about in this world through our daily lives remember to say good morning to the janitor, say thank you to the person who delivers your lunch, be gracious to the dry cleaner, be calm even if they mess up your order through at the drive thru. If you have a receptionist tip her during the holidays, housekeepers too, be grateful you have people in the world willing to take the jobs that you won't because without them we'd all be assed out, like in the movie, A DAY WITHOUT A MEXICAN

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
